The FOOTT Story

A local Australian company dedicated to providing leading edge, responsible waste and recycling solutions.

The Foott family history

Peter and Jenny Foott commenced FOOTT as a small waste business in 1992. They entered the waste and recycling industry initially on their own, and then with a small team of three, working from home before investing in their first 2 hectare site in Shepparton. Their vision was to become the best waste service provider in North-East Victoria.

More than 30 years later, through perseverance, innovation and clever thinking along with a great community spirit they have more than achieved this vision. They continue to build a successful business today and are pleased to have a member of the next generation, their son Zane, involved in the business.

Bloo Loos Portable Toilet Hire was established by the FOOTT family in 2001 to complement FOOTT waste bin services. Today the Bloo Loos brand has been absorbed into FOOTT as we continue to build a strong event equipment and toilet hire division. FOOTT has been further enhanced through the acquisition of well established brands Benalla Waste, GV Liquid Waste, Big Vac Waste and Tocumwal Liquid Waste over the years.

Employing over 55 team members, FOOTT now provides waste, recycling and event services in Victoria and Southern NSW. With continued investment in the business, FOOTT now occupies a 5-hectare site, operating a brand-new recycling and processing facility which incorporate the latest safety systems.

Jenny & Peter’s commitment to supporting local extends well beyond the FOOTT business. Both Jenny and Peter hold several directorships, supporting various sectors in the communities in which they operate.

As respected leaders, Jenny and Peter take their community leadership roles seriously, ensuring that FOOTT not only supports local community groups through their FOOTT Cares program but also as a large and growing regional employer.
